Happy Summer Everyone

Silicon Valley Feis
The Silicon Valley Feis is open for registration and the deadline is fast
approaching. Please register by JULY 9th to avoid the late fee. Fiona will be attending this Feis and will be watching and evaluating dancers as they dance. You can register at www.feisworx.com.
Feis dates are July 24th and 25th in Santa Clara (next to Great America)

San Diego Feis
The Hidden Valley Feis in San Diego is held over the Labor Day weekend (9/4 and 9/5). I will be attending this Feis. If you would like to go, registration is open now at www.feisworx.com. The deadline to enter is August 20th

Team Dancing
I will be holding auditions for team dancing during the workshop. I am choosing 3 teams for the Oireachtas: 2 Special Figure Choreography Teams and one Dance Drama team. The Figure teams have between 8 and 16 dancers. The Dance Drama has no more than 20 dancers. Dancers MUST commit to dance at the Oireachtas November 20th AND commit to adding another class/es per week.
These teams are open to dancers who have been competing for a year or more or taking class at O’Sullivan’s for a year or more.
It is a privilege to be chosen for one of these teams as they will represent our school at the 2010 Western Region Oireachtas.

Workshop Payment Due
The final installment of the workshop is due by Wednesday, July 14th.

Dress Code for workshop
Please wear all black shorts and tank tops or t-shirts and have your hair in a bun or half bun.

Class Change on Wednesday, July 21st

The 6:00-7:00 Fast Hardshoe 3 class will not be happening this day. Dancers enrolled in this class are welcome to come to the 4:00 Fast Hardshoe 2 class or the Tuesday 6:30 Hardshoe class that week.

Parents in the Lobby
We have a very small lobby, as such parents are allowed in the lobby only the 1st 5 minutes of class and the last 10 minutes of class. An audience in the lobby is very distracting to the class. I have received numerous complaints from students about parents coming in 15 to 20 minutes before class is over. PLEASE adhere to the lobby times for the sake of each dancer. Thank you!
